Job Summary
A Field Technician for Broadband Installation & Servicing is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting broadband internet connections at customer locations. The technician ensures proper setup of routers, cables, and network equipment while providing good customer service and resolving connectivity issues.
- Key Responsibilities
- Install broadband internet connections at customer homes or offices.
- Set up routers, modems, fiber/ethernet cables, and related networking equipment.
- Test internet connectivity and ensure proper signal strength and speed.
- Troubleshoot and repair network or connectivity issues.
- Perform maintenance and service visits when required.
- Lay and manage fiber or LAN cables as per installation requirements.
- Educate customers on basic router usage and internet setup.
- Maintain daily installation and service reports.
