Job Title: Human Resources Specialist Job Summary The Human Resources Specialist will play a key role in supporting our organization's HR functions. This position will be responsible for various tasks related to recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of HR best practices. Responsibilities 1. Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks. 2. Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation sessions, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees. 3. Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations, and serve as the primary point of contact for benefits-related inquiries. 4. Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, attendance records, and HR databases. 5. Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management processes. 6. Assist with HR compliance efforts, including ensuring adherence to employment laws and regulations. 7. Support HR initiatives and projects, such as employee engagement surveys, training programs, and policy development. 8. Provide HR-related support and guidance to employees and managers on various HR policies, procedures, and practices. 9. Assist with HR reporting and data analysis, generating reports on key HR metrics and trends as needed. 10. Stay current on HR trends, best practices, and legal requirements to ensure compliance and effectiveness in HR operations. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration preferred. - Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. - Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. - HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred but not required. Working Conditions - This position typically works in an office environment. - Occasional travel may be required for recruitment activities or training sessions.
