Job Title: Human Resources Manager – Group Level Organization: Innovative Business Group (IBG)

Role OverviewThe HR Manager – Group Level will serve as the centralized HR leader for Innovative Business Group, managing and driving all HR functions across multiple companies operating in IT, renewable energy, finance, legal, and education sectors.

This role requires a highly strategic and execution-focused professional who can build standardized HR systems while adapting to the unique operational needs of each industry vertical. The position offers a rare opportunity to work in a multi-industry ecosystem, contributing directly to organizational growth, culture building, and workforce scalability.

  • Key Responsibilities

1. Group HR Strategy & Leadership Develop and implement group-wide HR strategies, policies, and frameworks

  • Act as a strategic advisor to directors and leadership team
  • Align HR initiatives with short-term and long-term business goals
  • Create scalable HR systems to support multi-company growth
  • Define and monitor HR KPIs across all entities

2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning Lead end-to-end recruitment across all verticals:

  • IT & tech roles (developers, UI/UX, support teams)
  • Solar/engineering roles (site engineers, project managers)
  • Finance & compliance roles (accountants, auditors)
  • Legal professionals (associates, legal advisors)
  • Academic staff (trainers, coordinators)
  • Build a centralized recruitment engine
  • Develop strong employer branding for IBG Group
  • Optimize hiring metrics: cost per hire, time to hire, quality of hire

3. HR Operations & Policy Governance Design and implement:

  • HR policies & employee handbooks
  • SOPs and operational workflows
  • Ensure smoothness:
  • Onboarding and induction processes
  • Exit management and full & final settlements
  • Maintain centralized employee database and documentation
  • Implement and manage HRMS systems across companies

4. Legal Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with all applicable Indian labor laws:

  • PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Bonus, Shops & Establishment Act
  • Handle statutory filings, inspections, and audits
  • Draft and manage:
  • Employment contracts
  • NDAs and confidentiality agreements
  • HR-related legal documentation
  • Coordinate with legal experts, including Legasre Law Firm, for compliance and dispute resolution

5. Performance Management System (PMS) Design and implement performance appraisal frameworks

  • Establish KPI/OKR-based evaluation systems
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews
  • Link performance outcomes with:
  • Salary revisions
  • Promotions
  • Incentives

6. Learning & Development (L&D): Identify training needs across different industries

  • Develop internal training programs in collaboration with IBG Academy
  • Drive leadership development and succession planning
  • Promote continuous learning culture across IBG

7. Employee Engagement & Culture Building Build and maintain a strong, unified organizational culture

  • Design engagement initiatives:
  • Team-building activities
  • Recognition & reward programs
  • Employee feedback systems
  • Improve employee retention and satisfaction
  • Handle grievances and conflict resolution professionally

8. Compensation, Payroll & Benefits Oversee payroll operations across all companies

  • Design competitive compensation structures
  • Manage benefits, bonuses, and incentive programs
  • Ensure payroll compliance and accuracy

9. Multi-Industry HR Management Customize HR practices based on industry needs:

  • Corporate & tech culture (IBG Infotech)
  • Field workforce management (IBG Solar)
  • Compliance-heavy roles (ProMunim & Legal firm)
  • Academic & training environment (IBG Academy)
  • Balance standardization with flexibility

10. HR Analytics & Reporting Track and analyze HR metrics:

  • Attrition rate
  • Hiring efficiency
  • Employee productivity
  • Provide data-driven insights to management
  • Prepare periodic HR reports and dashboards

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong expertise in multi-company HR management

  • Deep understanding of Indian labor laws and compliance
  • Experience handling diverse industries and workforce types
  • Strategic thinking with strong execution capability
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism

Qualifications

MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent

  • 5–12+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Prior experience in group-level or multi-industry HR role preferred

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to: Group Directors / Promoters
  • Collaborates with:
  • Department Heads across all companies
  • Finance & Accounts teams (including ProMunim of India Pvt Ltd)
  • Legal advisors and consultants
