Human Resources | HR Leadership, Employee Relations, Benefits Administration & Talent Acquisition

Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an experienced Human Resources (IT) to oversee recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR initiatives within our technology-focused organization. The role aims to support the growth and development of our IT talent pool, ensure HR practices are compliant and aligned with organizational goals, and foster a positive, inclusive work environment. This position will be pivotal in driving HR excellence and enabling the organization to attract and retain top IT professionals.

Software Requirements

Required Software Proficiency:

  • HR management systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or similar HRIS) — proficiency in data entry, reporting, and HR processes

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) — advanced skills for reporting, presentations, and communication

  • ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) — experience in managing recruitment pipelines and candidate tracking

Preferred Software Skills:

  • Employee engagement tools (e.g., SurveyMonkey, Culture Amp) — familiarity with tools that measure and improve employee engagement

  • Learning management systems (LMS) — experience with platforms such as Moodle or Adobe Captivate

Overall Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for IT roles, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top talent

  • Address employee concerns, provide guidance on HR policies, and promote positive employee relations

  • Administer and communicate employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives

  • Assist in performance management processes, including evaluations and development plans

  • Support and implement HR programs focused on training, employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion

  • Ensure HR compliance with applicable state, federal, and organizational regulations

  • Maintain accurate employee records and generate HR reports for leadership

  • Drive continuous improvement in HR practices and support the organization’s talent development strategies

Technical Skills

  • Databases/Data Management:

    • Experience with HR data management systems and reporting tools

  • HR Technologies:

    • Required: HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems, and benefits administration tools

    • Preferred: HR analytics and dashboard tools for data-driven decision making

  • Other Technologies:

    • Strong knowledge of MS Office tools; familiarity with HR-related cloud solutions (e.g., Workday, SAP)

  • Methodologies:

    • Knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance standards

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 7+ years in HR functions with a focus on HR processes supporting IT or technology teams

  • Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated success in employee relations, benefits administration, and HR program implementation

  • Experience working in global or cross-functional teams preferred

  • Alternative pathways include HR leadership in technology organizations or consulting

Day-to-Day Activities

  • Lead the recruitment process for IT and technical roles, coordinating with hiring managers to assess talent needs

  • Conduct employee onboarding sessions and manage HR documentation efficiently

  • Resolve employee relations issues, mediate conflicts, and provide HR guidance to staff and managers

  • Administer employee benefits, respond to inquiries, and ensure compliance with legal standards

  • Collaborate with HR team members and business leaders to roll out HR programs and initiatives

  • Track HR metrics, prepare reports, and recommend strategies for talent retention and engagement

  • Stay updated on employment law changes and industry HR trends to ensure best practice implementation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus

  • Relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) are preferred

  • Proven ability in HR operations within the technology or IT sector

  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and compliance standards

  • Effective communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and provide clear guidance
