We recently launched digital banks and wallets in multiple markets to enhance our customers’ experiences with a cutting-edge digital Ecosystem. As an Associate, you will be responsible for implementation of a service delivery model supporting assigned platforms through a predefined framework. This includes oversight and management of the Western Union Payments data analytics/business intelligence program

Role Responsibilities

• Ensure that software functionality is implemented with a focus on code optimization and organization.
• Recommend improvements to existing software programs.
• Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate issue resolution with operations, functional, and technical teams.
• Work with a software development team and Service providers in a geographically distributed structure
• Works independently on Simple to medium to projects.
• Must be a problem solver with demonstrated experience in solving difficult technology challenges, with a can-do attitude
• Experience in developing and implementing web-based solutions.
• Knowledge of object-oriented principles and techniques
• Knowledge of logical and physical database architectures and operating systems
• Self-starter with ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage workload, and consistently deliver results
• Experience in Agile and Iterative development methodologies
• Strong communication skills with ability to interact with partners globally
• Experience in financial services and business practices
• Experience in capturing business reporting requirements and design/development of reports

Role Requirements

• 2+ years of software development experience with a focus on software design & development
• 2+ years of experience in Salesforce, Service Cloud and force.com platform.
• Good to have - Java knowledge
• Hands-on experience working with service cloud standard features- Email-to-case, Webforms, Chat, Entitlements & milestones, Omni Channel, CTI etc.
• Strong foundation & understanding of web development using Html & JavaScript in Salesforce eco-system.
• Experience working in Apex, Lightning Framework and components (Aura and LWC), Integrations (SF REST API), Triggers, SLDS, Batch, and configurations like Flows, validation rules, Custom Metadata types, profiles, role, sharing rules, SFDX etc. on Salesforce.com platform.
• Having a good knowledge of Agile and Iterative development methodologies and being proficient using JIRA, Version Control Systems (e. g. GitLab) & exposure to SFDX based deployments.
• Having any certifications from Service Cloud Consultant/App builder/Platform Developer-1/JavaScript Developer-1 will be preferred.
