The Position

The Site Head Roche Digital Technology Tech Hub Hyderabad is a high-seniority leadership role (reporting at Chief Digital Technology Officer-1 level) with dual accountability. As the Functional Site Head of the Hyderabad Tech Hub, you are the functional and cultural face of Roche, responsible for managing all aspects of site operations, including Roche Digital Technology financials, regulatory compliance and site level operations. Simultaneously, as the Head of Roche Digital Technology Hyderabad Tech Hub, you will lead the rapid scaling of our digital capabilities, transitioning from a project ramp-up model to a fully integrated, high-performance Roche Digital Technology center. Your focus is on driving significant growth through a "Product Mindset," ensuring that speed of delivery is matched by uncompromising engineering quality and a strong sense of organizational culture.

The Opportunity:

• Drive Site Governance & Compliance: You will provide overall site management for the Roche Digital Technology Function in Hyderabad, ensuring all operations align with Roche’s global standards, local labor laws, and compliance frameworks.

• Strategic Financial Stewardship: You will manage the site’s budget (CAPEX/OPEX), ensuring cost-effective operations and strategic resource allocation to support Roche Digital Technology’s growth trajectory.

• Lead High-Velocity Scaling: You will drive the mass onboarding of talent through the ramp-up phase, ensuring a seamless transition from project mode to the established Roche Digital Technology operating model.

• Champion Delivery Excellence: You will establish a culture of high performance based on rigorous delivery metrics, focusing on quality, throughput, and value-add to the global business.

• Integrate a Product Mindset: You will lead the cultural shift from task-based work to a "Product Mindset," ensuring every new hire understands the end-to-end value chain and their impact on patients.

• Cultivate "One Roche" Identity: You will build a unified identity that bridges global functional silos, ensuring employees feel a strong sense of belonging to the local Roche community.

• Act as a Global-Local Bridge: You will serve as the "Voice of Hyderabad" in global forums, educating global leaders on local regulations and nuances to ensure effective management of teams.

• Foster Innovation & Branding: You will position the Hyderabad site as a premier tech destination by collaborating with universities and startups to foster open innovation and a strong employer brand.

Who you are:

• Proven Enterprise Leader: You have 15+ years of experience in managing large-scale operations (GCCs) with a focus on both operational excellence and cultural cohesion.

• Highly Educated Professional: You are educated to a Master’s degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant technical or business field, providing the strategic foundation needed for this seniority.

• Strategic Influencer: You possess a strong executive presence with the ability to navigate a complex, global matrix organization and influence stakeholders up to the C-suite.

• Agile & Servant Leader: You demonstrate the ability to act as a visionary and coach, empowering autonomous product teams while maintaining clear accountability for results.

• Change Management Expert: You have a proven ability to lead through rapid growth, ambiguity, and organizational transformation, particularly in a global transition context.

• Business & Market Expert: You possess a deep understanding of the technology landscape in India, combined with the financial and operational rigor required of a Site Head.

• Master Communicator: You are fluent in English with excellent communication skills, capable of bridging local site needs with global Roche Digital Technology strategies.
