Technical Consultant

ServiceNow UI Builder/Workspaces SME needs to be able to 1)Master the contents of the ServiceNow UI Builder basic training. -Create Pages and Page variants in UI Builder-Use events and dynamic data binding in UI Builder -Use Client-site interactions in UI Builder-Use Data Resources in UI Builder-Use Modals -Understand Themes2)Understand How Workspaces Audiences work3)Understand how Workspaces are configured in the domain hierarchy4)Support the release of Workspace related user stories in production5)Support the assessment and mitigation of impact of Servicenow new releases on workspaces and help to resolve any negative impacts. Debug and workspaces efficiently. Troubleshoot workspace-related errors. 6)The person in this role should actively follow up Servicenow communities and find solutions to problems. 7)The person should be able to discuss with business users to convert their business needs into Workspaces features.Perosn should be responsible for the identification, design and delivery oflarger or more complex architectures, strategies and specific solutions through the ServiceNow platform. The role holder will 1. inputs to and suggest improvements to designs of the ServiceNow platform2. provides designs for the configuration of the ServiceNow platform.3. for routine and non-routine problems, produces high quality solutions and documentation through the use of a structured approach that may include appropriate methods, tools and testing.4. fluently present technical information to technical audiences both orally and in writing.5. keep abreast of technology developments within their own specialism.6. maintain a good level of product and solution knowledge and maintains an up-to-date skills profile in ServiceNow and Java Scripting, .NET and Jelly code.Key Performance Indicators: Demonstrates evidence of suggestions and improvements to designs. Successful design of medium size components. Work is delivered to agreed timescales. Issues are notified in a timely manner. Contributes to the production, maintenance and/or testing of maintainable solutions with a low density of defects. Meets Service Level Agreements /Operating Level Agreement requirements for customer on problems resolved. Achievement of targeted Product Quality. Documentation of development steps in line with requirements and shared with Consultant, Engagement Manager and Customer. Demonstrates problem solving skills and solution development acumen. Effective communication and team work including external development partners on customer projects.Core Skills Educated to degree level or have some experience in an IT industry/environment Experience in technical analysis and design, preferably within a development environment Knowledge of the ServiceNow Platform including technology, development, and modules Knowledge of software implementation and/or system deployment concepts. Ability to manage competing priorities Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Innovative and pro-active, able to work on own initiative and a problem solver Demonstrable ability to handle a range of activities to timescales Demonstrable customer service orientated approach Ability to assimilate customer requirements Driven to succeed in the role Effective team player Competent IT capabilities.
