NATM CIVIL FOREMAN

1. Education: A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field is preferred, although some employers may accept a relevant associate degree or vocational training combined with extensive experience.

2. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in tunnel construction, with a focus on NATM and specifically cross passage construction, is typically required. Experience as a foreman or in a similar supervisory role is highly valued.

   • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, plans, and specifications related to tunneling and cross passage construction.
   • Knowledge of relevant software and tools used in tunneling projects.

   • Ability to effectively lead and manage a team of workers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
   • Strong communication skills to coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other team members.
   • Problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during construction.

5. Safety and Regulations:

   • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to tunnel construction.
   • Experience in implementing and enforcing safety protocols to ensure compliance with regulations and protect workers' health and safety.
