Responsibilities:

  • Lead the entire kitchen operation with authority and expertise, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Develop innovative and seasonally inspired menus that showcase our commitment to sustainability and local ingredients.
  • Oversee all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, respect, and creativity within the kitchen team.
  • Implement and enforce kitchen policies and procedures to maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization.
  • Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective menu options while maximizing profitability.
  • Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure ingredient freshness and availability.
  • Stay abreast of culinary trends and techniques, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Handle kitchen-related emergencies and customer inquiries with professionalism and grace.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de partie or Head Chef in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or culinary establishment.
  • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and ingredient sourcing.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for sustainability and a commitment to using eco-friendly practices in the kitchen.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred.
