Key Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Monitoring: Recording vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate) and monitoring for changes in condition.
- Medication Administration: Safely administering medications via oral, IV, or other routes and documenting them.
- Treatment Collaboration: Assisting doctors with medical procedures, exams, and implementing care plans.
- Patient Advocacy & Education: Educating patients/families on treatment plans, disease prevention, and post-discharge care.
- Documentation: Updating electronic medical records (EMR) with accurate and timely information.
- Emergency Care: Providing immediate, high-stress care in emergency situations.
