An excellent crew must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. You will need to be adaptable, hardworking, and willing to take direction. You need to be quick on your feet and have a polite and friendly attitude. You should also be comfortable with managing competing priorities in a fast-paced restaurant setting. The goal is to help preserve and enhance our reputation so we can expand our clientele. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a fast speed of service, especially during rush times.

• Preparing Ingredients, which includes washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing ingredients to use in cooking.

• Accurately taking orders, ensuring food and drinks are delivered to our customers on time.

• Preparing and presenting all food to brand standards.

• Ensuring that all products are within shelf lives and maintain correct storage conditions for all food as per brand standards.

• Health and Safety/Food hygiene regulations are adhered to.

• Clean and sanitize cooking equipment, food preparation workstations and utensils etc.

• Follow all food health and safety requirements.

• Keep an orderly environment in the kitchen.

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.

• Check quality of ingredients.

• Assisting with the monitoring and unloading of deliveries.

• Storing ingredients according to prescribed food safety regulations.

• Reporting all damaged or faulty equipment to the kitchen manager.

• Monitor stock and inform the kitchen manager when there are shortages.

• Cleaning trash cans and disposing refuse on a regular basis.

• Sweeping and mopping floors, as required.

• Arrange for ovens and cooking ranges to be set at proper heat levels.

• Wash and dry dishes, flatware, and glasses and throw away trash in trash receptacles.

• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served.
