Job Summary:
We are inviting fresh graduates and recently passed-out students to join us as Medical Billing Interns. This internship program provides hands-on training in US healthcare billing processes, insurance claims, coding basics, and revenue cycle management. Selected interns will gain industry experience and may be offered full-time employment based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and submitting medical claims.
- Verify patient information, insurance eligibility, and coverage details.
- Learn medical coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) and billing procedures.
- Follow up on pending claims and denials under team guidance.
- Maintain accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Support the billing team with reports and documentation.
Available Internship Positions
Interns will be trained and placed into specialized areas of Medical Billing based on interest and performance:
- Charge Entry Intern – Learning to input patient and billing information accurately into systems.
- Payment Posting Intern – Assisting in posting insurance and patient payments to accounts.
- AR Calling Intern – Learning to follow up with insurance companies on pending/denied claims.
- Denial Management Intern – Supporting the resolution of denied claims by identifying reasons and preparing appeals.
- Coding Support Intern – Introduction to medical coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) and assisting certified coders.
Who Can Apply?
- Fresh graduates in BBA, B. Com, B.Sc., MBA, or related fields.
- Strong interest in healthcare, finance, or RCM operations.
- Good communication skills and willingness to work in US/Night shifts.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, Excel).
- Eager to learn and grow in the healthcare domain.
