Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION – Junior Nutritionist (Plants & Dairy)
Locations: Sariapalle, Sottadavalasa & Ichapuram
No Of Positions: 08
Position Summary
ETOR Ventures is seeking a motivated Junior Nutritionist to support both plant nutrition (agriculture) and livestock nutrition (dairy farming) across our farm locations. The role involves improving soil fertility, crop health, cattle nutrition, and overall farm productivity through scientific and sustainable practices.
Key Responsibilities
A. Livestock (Cattle) Nutrition
* Assist in preparing and implementing balanced feed plan for dairy cattle.
* Monitor animal health, feeding patterns, and ensure optimal milk yield and quality.
* Support maintenance of colostrum milk quality standards.
* Coordinate with veterinary teams for health and nutrition management.
* Maintain records of feed intake, milk production, and animal performance.
B. Plant Nutrition (Agriculture)
* Assist in planning and applying fertilizers, organic manures, and micronutrients for crops.
* Monitor soil health, crop growth, and nutrient deficiencies.
* Support cultivation of ETOR crops such as Miyazaki mango, sandalwood, stevia, aloe vera, etc.
* Promote and implement organic and sustainable farming practices.
* Maintain records of soil testing, input usage, and crop performance.
C. General Responsibilities
* Work closely with farm managers and workers to ensure proper implementation of practices.
* Provide basic training to farm staff on nutrition, feeding, and crop care.
* Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
* Prepare simple reports and updates for management.
Eligibility Criteria
* Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Agriculture, Animal Nutrition, Dairy Science, Horticulture, or Veterinary Science.
* 0–2 years of experience (Freshers with strong knowledge can apply).
* Basic understanding of soil nutrition, crop management, and livestock feeding.
* Willingness to work in field/farm environments and travel across locations.
Skills Required
* Knowledge of plant & animal nutrition fundamentals*
* Observation and analytical skills
* Record-keeping and reporting ability
* Good communication and teamwork
* Interest in organic farming and integrated farm systems
Additional Requirements
* Must be comfortable with field-based work
* Flexible to travel between Sariapalle, Sottadavalasa & Ichapuram
* Preference for candidates from nearby/local areas
