Farm Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Farm Operations Management: Supervise and coordinate all activities on the farm, including plantation, irrigation, fertilization, soil management, pest control, and harvesting to ensure crops meet production goals.

Team Leadership: Manage, motivate, and lead a team of farm laborers to ensure work is carried out effectively and efficiently. Ensure the team is trained, well-informed, and productive.

Fencing & Land Development: Oversee fencing work, land preparation, and other physical improvements, ensuring that the farm infrastructure is maintained and that projects are completed on time.

Maintenance and Safety: Ensure that all farm equipment is properly maintained, and farm safety protocols are followed. Provide ongoing maintenance to the farm's infrastructure, including irrigation systems, machinery, and tools.

Agro-Tech Integration: Apply modern agricultural technologies and practices to improve crop yields, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. Stay updated on agrotech innovations and incorporate them into farm operations where applicable.

Work Scheduling and Coordination: Create detailed work schedules for laborers and contractors to ensure that tasks are completed as per deadlines, prioritizing work based on seasonal needs.

Quality Control & Monitoring: Regularly inspect farm operations to ensure that work quality and productivity levels are maintained. Implement improvements as needed to enhance farm performance.

Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of farm operations, including labor costs, crop yields, materials, and equipment usage. Report progress regularly to senior management.

Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all farm operations comply with environmental regulations and health & safety standards.
