Job & Division Summary: 

Engineering and design support of Industrial equipment such as, Loading Arms, compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers and subsystems.

 

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include understanding project scope, design & selection of project specific equipment’s/components, Creation and PLM release of 3D parts/assemblies, 2D drawings, Calculations and technical documentation as per Ingersoll-Rand standards.

 

Work with project partners located in Europe to understand project requirements and execute with highest standards, On time Delivery and First Pass yield.

 

Industry Experience: Experience in Process Industries, oil & gas, chemical, power plant or other similar industries as a Piping engineer, design engineer, project engineer, or similar roles related to Loading arms, Blowers, fans, pumps, turbines, generators or any rotating equipment.

Mandatory Skills

• 4+ Years of Hands-on experience in General Arrangement Drawing (GAD) and engineering BOM release using PLM, large assembly drawings, data sheets and P&ID
• 3+ years of CAD experience in Inventor and Vault is a must.
• 2+ years of experience in Piping design, routing and isometric Drawings generation.
• Experience in interpreting Scope of Work and create a detailed project planning activities – Min 2+ year of hands-on experience.

Desired skills:

• Piping selection for LNG & HPNG, refinery, gases and chemical industry is preferred
• Knowledge of Hydraulic piping and fittings
• Understanding of API, ATEX, Pressure equipment directives standards
• Ability to multitask and communicate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and clients.
• Good communication skills in English.

• Knowledge of standards such as API 619, ASME B16.5, Sec 8, Div 1& 2 is desirable.

 

Basic Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• 4+ Years of Relevant experience after graduation.
• Excellent communication skills
