Executive Director - Data & AI Leader, Financial Services

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our Data delivery for a large FS client. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Data Engineering, Management and applications and demonstrate a strong background in managing large scale data support services. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of successfully running large-scale projects, typically involving 100-200 resources, across various sectors.

Essential Functions of the job

• Lead the strategy, growth, delivery and operations of the Account Delivery for Data practice within the GDS - Technology Consulting service line
• Demonstrating strong innovation and technology acumen to establish credibility with regional / sector and accounts leaders across the globe
• Drive Transformation in Service Operations byleveraging Innovative/Agentic AI solutions
• Strong Financial Acumen & Contract Management with a focus on profitable delivery and Contractual Service Levels committments
• Drive Business Value in service operations by influencing, proposing & delivering innovative data solutions
• Designing and executing the blueprint for the delivery of the account.
• Building a unique brand for EY around the Data and ramp up capability across GDS locations including India, Philippines, Spain, Mexico, Poland and future locations.

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities

• Define and execute data delivery strategy aligned with client objectives.
• Evaluate and implement innovative AI-driven service operations.
• Analyze financial metrics to ensure profitable, SLA-compliant delivery.
• Assess cross-functional data solutions for business impact and scalability.
• Make strategic decisions on global capability expansion and talent ramp- up.
• Help recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and management of staff competence.

Education & Experience

Qualification: BE/B Tech/ ME/M Tech/MBA/MCA.

25+ years of experience in leading and delivering large scale complex Global Data Engagements (Team sizes - 150+, TCV >100 MUSD)

• Demonstrating strong data engineering technology acumen and support services
• Strong Practice Building experience
• Should understand the various products, platforms, and offerings of the business with special emphasis on the cloud data engineering suite of Products
