Director of Hospitality

Global Capability Center Overview

This is a rare opportunity to shape a hospitality function at scale within a newly created flagship Global Capability Center in Bangalore, supporting a community of over 2,500 financial services and technology professionals.

The workplace spans 450,000 square feet across 9 floors, including 120,000 square feet of dedicated hospitality space. This includes two high-profile client-facing meeting floors, an internal staff restaurant, social hubs, and 70 meeting rooms and event spaces that support collaboration, innovation, and client engagement.

Role Accountability

The Director of Hospitality is accountable for creating a hospitality-led workplace that elevates performance, connection, and wellbeing. This role moves beyond traditional corporate services, embedding the rigor, polish, and emotional intelligence of luxury hospitality within a complex, fast-paced GCC environment.

Pre-opening leadership is central to this role. You will build the hospitality function from the ground up designing service models, recruiting and developing high-performing teams, establishing standards, and launching operations that set a new benchmark for workplace experience.

As a highly visible leader, the Director of Hospitality shapes how people experience the workplace every day, setting the standard for service excellence, culture, and operational discipline across the organization, and providing strategic and operational leadership across:

  • Reception; lead four premium, client-facing reception desk experiences across 9 floors
  • Workplace Ambassadors, leading a visible, high-impact team responsible for managing team floors, internal meeting spaces, and serving as the primary point of contact for employees across the workplace
  • Central Reservations function, ensuring absolute accuracy, governance, and optimization across all meeting rooms and event spaces
  • Internal Event Planning and Venue Management, delivering seamless employees and client events
  • Office Services, including mailroom operations and stationery services
  • Uniform Operations, supporting and maintaining over 800 hospitality staff garments
  • Strategic partnership with outsourced Food & Beverage providers, working collectively to deliver a world-class experience (no direct F&B operational ownership)
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the pre-opening strategy and execution for hospitality services across the GCC, from concept through stabilization
  • Design and implement service models, operating standards, and guest experience journeys aligned with global brand expectations
  • Build, recruit, and develop high-performing hospitality teams from the ground up, instilling a culture of excellence, accountability, and pride
  • Lead and inspire Workplace Ambassadors, Reservations, Events, and Office Services teams to deliver consistent, intuitive service
  • Partner closely with outsourced Food & Beverage operators to ensure alignment with hospitality vision, standards, and employee experience outcomes
  • Collaborate with Corporate Real Estate, Facilities, HR, Technology, Security, and Senior Leadership to integrate hospitality into the broader workplace ecosystem
  • Establish KPIs, governance frameworks, and service metrics; leverage data to drive continuous improvement
  • Own vendor relationships and SLAs across hospitality-related services, ensuring performance and accountability
  • Act as a visible, hands-on leader during opening and stabilization phases, setting the tone for service excellence

Delivering a World-Class Experience

  • Create a hospitality culture that feels personal, polished, and intuitive at scale
  • Build trusted relationships with employees, leaders, and clients through presence, empathy, and attention to detail
  • Maintain strong on-floor leadership with regular walkthroughs and real-time coaching
  • Support complex, high-profile events and engagements with flawless coordination
  • Proactively identify risks and ensure business continuity, security, and privacy standards are upheld
  • Champion innovation and best practices drawn from luxury hotels, corporate real estate, and global workplace experience models

Experience & Qualifications

  • 15+ years of senior leadership experience across corporate real estate, leading workplaces, luxury hotels, and corporate hotel environments
  • Proven pre-opening experience is essential, including:
    • Launching large-scale hospitality or workplace environments
    • Designing service models and operational frameworks from scratch
    • Recruiting, training, and mobilizing teams for opening day readiness
  • Demonstrated ability to build world-class teams from the ground up, developing leaders and embedding a high-performance service culture
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, global partners, and external vendors
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High resilience, adaptability, and comfort operating in complex, fast-growth environments
  • Strong digital fluency and confidence leveraging technology and data to enhance service delivery
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, and Outlook
