General Accounting – Senior Analyst

 

 

What this job involves:

 

• Perform Budgets, Formal Variance Reviews, & Reconciliation for service charge accounting
• Ensure completion of assigned tasks in an accurate and timely manner to instructions and procedures
• Perform accounts reconciliations and resolving the Open items
• Proactively flag work items at risk of missing KPIs to a supervisor whenever necessary
• Ensure compliance with the Firm's financial, operating policies/procedures, and Statutory compliances while performing assigned tasks
• Day-to-day monitoring and maintenance of general mailbox
• Follow process documentation while performing day-to-day activities
• Create and update the SOPs for the assigned tasks and responsibilities
• Tracking and monitoring the aged items and taking effective steps for closure
• Any other accounting duties necessary to assist with the running of the various portfolios within the team
• Perform other duties assigned as and when required i.e. process improvement initiatives, system implementation and ad-hoc projects
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy in Service Delivery
• Acting as a Fund lead to ensure the timely and accurate delivery

To apply you need to be:

 

• Accounting Background (B. Com/M. Com/MBA Finance)
• Experience from 2 to 4 years in the process of Finance & Accounts
• Knowledge of property accounts and property VAT.
• Knowledge/experience of basic accounting.
• Computer skills including the ability to operate computerized accounting, spreadsheet and word-processing programs, and email at a moderate to advanced efficiency
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Adequate knowledge of MS-Excel
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to apply analytical and problem-solving skill
