Job Description

A Field Sales Executive in the tiles industry drives revenue by visiting construction sites, architects, developers, and dealers to sell ceramic/vitrified tiles. Responsibilities include generating leads, meeting sales targets, negotiating deals, maintaining client relationships, and offering product demonstrations to architects or contractors. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Acquisition: Identify and visit potential clients, including architects, interior designers, builders, and retailers, to pitch tile products.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales volume targets.
  • Product Presentation: Conduct on-field product presentations, showcasing product quality, designs, and specifications to clients.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong, long-term relationships with dealers and clients, addressing complaints and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, new construction projects, and industry trends to identify new opportunities.
  • Reporting: Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, including visits and sales figures, to management. 
  • Experience: Proven field sales experience, preferably within the construction, ceramics, or building materials industry.
  • Education & Skills : A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is often preferred. Strong negotiation, communication, and networking skills are essential
  • Mobility: Must have a two-wheeler and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. 

Common Requirements in Hyderabad:

  • Knowledge of local markets and construction projects in areas like Hyderabad/Secunderabad.
  • Experience in dealing with dealers, distributors, or construction procurement teams.
  • Knowledge of sanitary ware or allied building products is often a plus.
