English Teacher

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Primary English Teacher to teach English language and literature to primary-grade students. The ideal candidate will create an engaging learning environment that supports the development of reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills among young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  Plan and deliver well-structured English lessons in line with the school curriculum

  Foster a love for reading, creative writing, and spoken English among students

  Use age-appropriate teaching methods, materials, and resources

  Encourage student participation through interactive activities and storytelling

  Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and regular feedback

  Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment

  Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching aids

  Collaborate with other subject teachers and attend staff meetings

  Communicate with parents regarding student progress and areas for improvement

  Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and training workshops

Requirements:

  Prior experience teaching English at the primary level is an advantage

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  Strong classroom management and child engagement abilities

  Creativity, patience, and a passion for teaching young learners

  Familiarity with activity-based and phonics-based teaching methods.
