Job Description
Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and responsible Plant Operator to manage day-to-day operations of a packaged drinking water production facility. The candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining water treatment systems and bottling lines while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Key Responsibilities1. Plant OperationsOperate and monitor RO plant, UV, Ozonization, Filtration systems
- Handle bottling line (filling, capping, labeling, shrink wrapping)
- Ensure smooth production flow with minimal downtime
- Maintain production logs and daily reports
- 2. Quality ControlEnsure water quality meets BIS/FSSAI standards
- Monitor TDS, pH, and other water parameters regularly
- Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards across plant
- 3. Machine Handling & MaintenancePerform basic troubleshooting of machinery
- Coordinate with maintenance team for breakdowns
- Ensure proper handling of preforms, bottles, and packaging materials
- 4. Production ManagementAchieve daily/weekly production targets
- Optimize machine efficiency and reduce wastage
- Ensure proper usage of raw materials and utilities
- 5. Safety & ComplianceFollow all safety protocols and SOPs
- Maintain clean and organized work environment
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Required Skills & QualificationsITI / Diploma / Any technical qualification preferred
- Minimum 0–3 years experience in:
- Packaged drinking water plant / beverage plant
- RO systems & bottling line operations
- Basic understanding of:
- Water treatment process
- Mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to work in shifts
