Sales Team Leader

The Sales Team Leader is responsible for managing, guiding, and motivating a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service. This role involves developing sales strategies, monitoring performance, and ensuring the team meets organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and supervise the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets

Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans

Monitor team performance, analyze sales data, and provide regular feedback

Conduct training sessions to improve product knowledge and selling skills

Set clear goals and KPIs for team members

Handle escalated customer issues and ensure high customer satisfaction

Collaborate with marketing and other departments to optimize sales efforts

Prepare and present sales reports to senior management

Identify market trends and opportunities for growth

Recruit, onboard, and mentor new sales team members

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)

Proven experience in sales, with at least 1–3 years in a leadership role

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Results-driven with strong problem-solving skills

Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions
