Job Description –Admissions Counselor Title: Admissions Counselor Reporting to: Central Head of Administration and Admissions Positions Supervised: All Admissions Staff Job Purpose: The Head of Admissions (HOA) oversees all aspects of admissions, recruitment and will lead the admissions process from inquiry through enrollment. The HOA will lead a collaborativeefforttodevelopandimplementbothshorttermandlong-termadmission strategies to ensure Universal Education meets admission objectives. Admissions ● Achieving Admission Targets: Should be able to strategize and achieve admissiontarget ● Lead Conversion: Plan, develop and execute and monitor the successful conversion of leads generated by the marketing team. Strategy ● Strategizing & Marketing: Planning, forecasting and analyzing market demand and student admission trends in coordination with senior management to attract and admit morestudents. ● Designing and Directing market researchinitiatives ● Provisionoftimelyandregularreportstoseniormanagementandacademicmanagementwithup-to-date statistics and analysis of student admissions and making recommendations where necessary (e.g. Admission reports, Exemption analysis reportsetc.) 2. TOP 3 MUSTHAVE’s 1. Graduate or preferably MBA with at least 10 years of overall marketing experience including 5 years in the Formal Education Sector inIndia 2. Knowledge and experience of implementing admissions procedures andSOP’s. 3. Ability to lead, work independently and as part of an administrationteam. 3. TOP 3 NICE TOHAVE’s 1. Good experience in tech-enabled admission environments involving lead management using CRM tools, visualization through MIS tools, multi-channel lifecycle marketing,etc. 2. He/She should have consistently achieved targets in last 5years 3. Should have the flair to coach/train and mentor admissionsteams.
