Job Title: Sales Manager - Perfume Brand Overview: We are a leading Indian perfume brand seeking an exceptional Sales Manager to join our team. Our organization is a start up in the fragrance and personal care industry recognised by the government of India & NITI Aayog (DPIIT) and supported by the network of Atal Innovation Mission through AIC’s and other channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving rapid expansion and revenue growth by leveraging his/her existing relationships with vendors and distributors, negotiating effectively, and exceeding sales targets month on month. Responsibilities: Utilize your existing relationships with vendors and distributors to rapidly expand the brand and achieve significant sales growth. Identify and secure new sales opportunities, including retail stores, modern trade channels, online marketplaces, and other relevant channels. Negotiate effectively with vendors and distributors to generate revenue monthly and exceed sales targets. Experience in handling key accounts and ability to generate a revenue amount of 10 lakhs+ monthly is a must. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth and revenue. Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify opportunities to increase sales. Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in the perfume industry and identify new partnership opportunities. Provide ongoing sales training and coaching to the sales team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed. Attend trade shows, events, and other industry gatherings to represent the brand and identify new business opportunities. Work closely with the marketing team to align sales and marketing strategies and ensure that the brand message is consistent across all channels. You shall have the flexibility of a hybrid work pattern. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. 5-7 years of experience in sales management in the perfume or luxury goods industry. Proven track record of leveraging existing relationships with vendors to rapidly expand a brand, negotiating effectively to generate substantial revenue, and exceeding sales targets. Strong gift of gab and ability to build rapport quickly. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
