• Sourcing suppliers and maintaining long-lasting relationships with them as well as existing suppliers. • Obtaining quotes from different suppliers. • Negotiating price, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers. • Managing order release and follow-ups • Working with clients to ensure that all contracts relating to product procurement contain all details of the negotiation. • Assessing quotes and compiling a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns. • Generating quote comparisons and contributing to internal supplier selection based on the quotes. • Coordinating and visiting suppliers for relationship development as well as pre-shipment inspections • Handling and mitigating risks with quality of product, business process and compliance issues • Coordinating with logistics partners for movement of ready material • Ensuring all shipment related documents are in order and provided to clients in timely manner
