Job Description

JOB TITLE:                          Sr. Associate

UNIT:                                  FP&A

LOCATION:                         Mumbai - Airoli

REPORTING TO:                  Senior Business Partner

KEY RELATIONSHIP(S):       Sr. Business Partner Financial Controller, Financial Director, Ops Director 

 

JOB PURPOSE:

To work with the Senior Business Partner & other members of the NEC Finance team to provide clear, concise, timely and accurate financial information to the Operational P&L owners and their management teams in accordance with the Group timetable.

 

Financial Responsibilities:

·         Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)

·         Complete ownership in Month end closing, variance analysis and finalize the business seg P&L

·         Prepares financial reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing, and explaining information including past trends in key performance indicators and all areas of revenue, cost sales and expense

·         Assist senior business partners in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting

·         Updating headcount, headcount analysis, reporting and review the accuracy of data for BU’s

·         Preparing business review packs.

·         Preparation of billing report and monthly analysis.

·         Assisting in ad hoc analysis and reporting.

 PERSONAL QUALITIES, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Industry Experience

●     3-8 years of working experience preferably in a software-based business.

Commercial qualities

●     Independent with Strong analytical skills.

●     Good accounting experience.

●     Experience of using Excel to an intermediary level (v-lookup, pivot tables)

●     End user experience of SAP and TM1 would be an advantage.

 REQUIRED Essential QUALIFICATIONS: 

●     Strong academic background

●     Accounting degree or qualification or business-based degree with an accounting module
