Job Description
- key ResponsibilitiesHandle customer accounts and maintain strong client relationships
- Supervise and guide customer service and documentation team
- Ensure smooth handling of import clearance and shipment coordination
- Manage and monitor Bill of Entry requirements, customs documentation, and clearance process
- Work on and coordinate through ICEGATE
- Handle formalities related to ADC, FSSAI, PQ and other Government departments wherever applicable
- Ensure compliance with applicable Government regulations and import procedures
- Coordinate with customs, shipping lines, transporters, CFS, ports, and internal teams
- Take ownership of follow-up for shipment progress, approvals, queries, and pending matters
- Handle escalations and resolve operational delays efficiently
- Build, support, and lead a team as per management direction
- Prepare MIS, status reports, and performance updates for management
- Skills RequiredFull working knowledge of ICEGATE
- Strong knowledge of BE requirements
- Good understanding of Government regulations for customs clearance
- Experience in handling ADC, FSSAI, PQ formalities
- Excellent follow-up and coordination skills
- Team handling and team-building ability
- Leadership mindset with ability to execute under management guidance
- Good communication and client handling skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, email drafting, and reporting
- EligibilityGraduate required
- Experience in Customs Broker / CHA / Freight Forwarding / Logistics
- Candidate should be able to independently handle operations and guide junior staff
- Mumbai / Navi Mumbai candidates preferred
