Job SummaryWe are looking for a high-energy
Field Sales Executive to drive the adoption of our cutting-edge AI and IoT workshops. You will be the face of Focalyt, connecting with educational institutions, coaching centers, and corporate partners to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry-standard technology.
- Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and target potential clients, including schools, colleges, universities, and private training centers.
- On-Ground Demos: Conduct physical visits to educational hubs to deliver presentations and live demonstrations of our AI & IoT kits and curriculum.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with Principals, HODs, and Training & Placement Officers (TPOs).
- Sales Conversion: Handle the end-to-end sales cycle—from initial cold calling and field visits to negotiation and closing workshop contracts.
- Market Intelligence: Keep a pulse on competitor offerings and local educational trends to suggest improvements for our workshop modules.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily visits, pipeline status, and feedback using CRM tools.
- Candidate RequirementsBasic RequirementsEducation: Graduate (Any stream, though Technical/Business backgrounds are a plus).
- English Level: Good English (Ability to present technical concepts clearly).
- Experience: 1–3 years in Field Sales (Experience in EdTech or Software sales is highly preferred).
- Regional Language: Proficiency in Hindi and/or the local language of the assigned territory is mandatory.
- Technical & Soft SkillsSales Expertise: Proficiency in Field Sales, B2C Sales, and Distributor/Channel Sales.
- Product Knowledge: A basic understanding of AI, IoT, and Robotics (training will be provided, but curiosity is key).
- Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, "street-smart" problem solving, and the ability to work independently in a target-driven environment.
- Assets
- Must possess a two-wheeler and a valid driving license for daily field travel.
- Owns a smartphone for reporting and coordination.
