Job Description
Job Summary: The Purchase Executive will be responsible for planning, sourcing, and procurement of materials related to fire fighting systems on a project-wise basis. The role involves ensuring timely availability of materials, cost control, inventory optimization, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: 1 Plan and ensure timely procurement of fire fighting system materials as per project requirements. 2 Monitor and control inventory levels, reducing non-moving, slow-moving, and stock-out situations. 3 Coordinate material inspection, dispatch, and transportation. 4 Forecast future material requirements using analytical methods. 5 Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs). 6 Handle vendor selection, negotiation, and performance tracking. 7 Plan and execute material purchasing and part management. 8 Maintain and update price changes in ERP/software systems. 9 Update part codes/products as per change requests. 10 Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and logistics partners. 11 Track order status and ensure timely delivery. 12 Prepare and submit monthly MIS reports and reconciliation. 13 Ensure compliance with company procurement policies. Required Skills & Qualifications: 1 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Commerce / Supply Chain Management or related field. 2 2–5 years of experience in procurement (fire fighting / MEP / construction preferred). 3 Knowledge of fire fighting materials (pipes, valves, sprinklers, pumps, fittings). 4 Understanding of inventory and vendor management. 5 Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel. 6 Strong negotiation and communication skills. 7 Ability to manage multiple projects.
