The Accounting manager will be responsible for supervising and managing the accounting department and all areas of financial reporting. We are looking for someone to develop and maintain accounting principles, best practices, and systems for collecting, analyzing and reporting information. Must have a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Manager - Accounts & Finance will advise on budgets, financial strategy, financial reporting, and forecasting. He will also be responsible for managing accounting team, helping audit and ledger preparation, and supporting managers across teams with financial procedures. Responsibilities and Duties • Financial Planning, Budgeting, Costing and Variance Analysis • Overall Management of General Accounting, Book Keeping, A/P & A/R Management. • Project Finance, P& L Accounting and Balance Sheet Finalization. • Oversee and management of Taxation (Sales Tax, GST, Income Tax and other Direct / Indirect Taxation) • Handle and oversee Day to day accounting including A/P & A/R. Ensure long term resource mobilization and financial health of the Projects / Investments. • Oversee Collections, Receivable from Sales and Projections of funds as per business requirements. • Oversee and guide relationship building with Banks and Financial Institutions • Ensuring timely payments and collections from customers • Establish strong financial budgeting and monitoring system • Ensure implementation of common accounting systems in line with the Accounting Standards across the locations of the Organization • Effectively contribute to tax planning at corporate level and also assist in tax planning of direct and indirect taxation. • Establish effective and robust financial accounting and cost accounting systems so as to provide timely, accurate and consistent inputs for management reporting and allowing detailed analysis of performance in financial terms • Ensure statutory compliance of the domestic corporate laws
