Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Working with the electronics engineers to design, develop, and prototype various electronic circuits, and select various components for intended electronic circuits, and design PCBs. 2. Work on design and development of software for various robotic systems 3. Design software architecture for various robotic systems in the development 4. Learn new concepts and skills if required by the project 5. Develop GUIs for robotic systems in collaboration with other engineers 6. Test developed system and optimize codes 7. Working with them to optimize developed electronic circuits and learning new concepts and skills if required. 8. Working with the electronics engineers to test the electronics hardware and systems. 9. Working on sensor and actuator interfacing with microcontrollers. 10. Work in a multi-disciplinary team and communicate required information with various collaborators in a well-documented format 11. Should have the ability to quickly learn new technologies along with troubleshooting build and deployment issues 6. Should have the ability to clearly communicate technical and non-technical matters through written and oral medium 7. Should be able to work in multidisciplinary teams comprising of other disciplines 8. Should be prepared to learn new relevant skills 9. Should be able to work in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision Should have the ability to manage time effectively, work under deadlines, multitask, plan, organize and prioritize work assignments
