Job Description: Operation Manager We are looking to hire a Operation Manager that will be a good representative for Jowali Foods Private Limited. The applicant should have minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a operation manager in the FMGC industry and needs to have a good understanding of food processing operations and must be able to work independently while keeping its employer informed through daily communication. The production manager is expected to work at least 8 hours a day, 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday) in our Pune hub in Manjari Khurd. The person needs to be able to work in a flexible, dynamic “start-up” environment and understand customer/supplier’s need and provide solutions where necessary. A production manager needs to plan, coordinate and control the manufacturing processes so that products are delivered on time and within budget. Summary Key responsibilities 1. Lead and manage the production processes of sorting, roasting, seasoning, pouching and boxing of the Makhana into end-product and supervise the respective operators 2. Determine production schemes, quantities and timelines 3. Manage the stock tracker of raw materials and packaging materials, arrange on time purchases & deliveries of RM/ING/PM 4. Operational middleman between the client and Jowali 5. Lead weekly and daily production meetings with operators and staff 6. Main contact person for suppliers and/or contractors 7. Oversee product storage and handling 8. End-Responsible for selection, repair and maintenance machines 9. Monitor production processes and productivity rates and make adjustments where needed 10. Ensure that health, quality and safety guidelines are followed at all times
