Experience interpreting license and contractual terms/conditions and analyzing purchase records Knowledge of a variety of software licensing models and metrics Knowledge and familiarity with discovery tools used across different platforms Knowledge of the hardware asset lifecycle and associated processes Knowledge of the directive and regulations regarding the disposal of electrical equipment Working knowledge of SAM or HAM tool(s) Experience with corporate-wide and/or internal departmental software/hardware policy/procedure development and design. Mentoring and coaching team members including task management. Job responsibilities will include the following: Understand the general lifecycle of different types of Hardware Asset Collect, cleanse and normalize software and hardware discovery and inventory information Maintain regular Hardware Asset Inventory reports to ensure inventory coverage remains high Analyze consumption history and trends to understand and support discussion with stakeholders regarding future demand Communicate regularly with stakeholders to verify future anticipated demand for software and hardware, translate this into budgeting/forecasting guidance for the affected software programs Conduct regular analysis of actual consumption of pre-purchased inventories to deployment plans Interact with stakeholders as a promoter for Software Hardware Asset Management compliance processes and procedures Lead Group Wide with cross-functional teams to continuously improve existing, or implement new processes, required to sustain the controls necessary to maintain software compliance. Ensure reporting/logging of risk and mitigation plans put in place. Collaborate with stakeholders on the hardware asset management processes to ensure they are being followed and are effective Communicate regularly with stakeholders to ensure all assigned assets are being fully utilized Set Up and implement KPI for Hardware and Software ITAM Strategy and programme/project planning.
