Key Responsibilities

1. Preventive Maintenance

• Schedule and perform routine inspections.
• Lubricate, clean, and service machinery to prevent breakdowns.
• Maintain maintenance logs and records.

1. Troubleshooting & Repairs

• Quickly diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic faults.
• Replace or repair faulty parts with minimal downtime.

1. Equipment Installation

• Assist in setting up new production lines or machines.
• Ensure proper alignment, calibration, and commissioning.

1. Compliance & Safety

• Follow food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
• Ensure equipment complies with health and safety standards.

1. Continuous Improvement

• Recommend upgrades or redesigns for efficiency.
• Work with production and quality teams on process improvements.

1. Documentation & Reporting

• Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Generate reports on downtime, maintenance costs, etc.

Typical Qualifications
