Job Description
Job Profile:
- To promote and sell medicinal products by providing scientific, evidence-based information, updating doctors on new treatments, distributing samples, and achieving sales targets while gathering market feedback.
Key Responsibilities of a Medical Representative:
- Product Promotion & Sales: Educating doctors and pharmacists on product benefits to increase prescription rates and sales volume.
- Building Relationships: Establishing and maintaining strong, ethical, and professional relationships with healthcare providers.
- Information Exchange: Delivering detailed scientific data on new drug launches, safety, and therapeutic advancements.
- Market Analysis & Feedback: Gathering feedback on product performance and monitoring competitor activities.
- Reporting & Compliance: Maintaining accurate records of daily calls, sales data, and complying with all ethical and industry regulations.
- Organizing Events: Arranging medical conferences, seminars, and meetings.
Skills Preference:
- Scientific Knowledge: Understanding pharmacology and therapeutic areas of drug products.
- Communication & Negotiation: Strong interpersonal skills to persuade healthcare professionals.
- Time Management & Organization: Planning daily visits and managing large territories.
