Job Description
- 1. Sales & Business DevelopmentSource and generate gold loan business through walk-ins, referrals, and field activities.
- Achieve monthly gold loan disbursement and growth targets.
- Promote gold loan schemes, interest rates, and repayment options to customers.
- Cross-sell other financial products wherever applicable.
- 2. Customer Handling & Relationship ManagementGreet and guide customers throughout the gold loan process.
- Explain loan terms, interest rates, valuation process, and foreclosure options clearly.
- Maintain strong relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- 3. Gold Valuation & Loan ProcessingPerform gold appraisal/valuation as per company standards (training provided if required).
- Calculate eligible loan amounts based on purity and weight.
- Ensure accurate data entry and file processing.
- Coordinate with operations team for timely loan disbursement.
- 4. Documentation & ComplianceCollect and verify KYC documents as per RBI / NBFC norms.
- Ensure proper tagging, storage, and safety of pledged gold.
- Follow SOPs strictly for audit and compliance purposes.
- 5. Recovery & Follow-upsFollow up with customers for interest payments and loan renewals.
- Support renewal, closure, and auction-related activities if required.
- Maintain accurate customer and loan records.
