Responsible for overseeing and managing the income tax compliance and reporting process for the organization. Your role will involve leading a team of articles & income tax assistants to ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of income tax returns, compliance with tax regulations, and effective tax planning strategies. Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
Lead and supervise a team of articles & income tax assistants, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure their growth and development.
Allocate tasks and responsibilities among team members based on their strengths and expertise.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
Income Tax Compliance:
Oversee the preparation and filing of income tax returns (corporate, partnership, individual) in compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
Review tax computations and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to established guidelines.
Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate relevant updates to the team.
Tax Planning and Strategy:
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to implement tax planning strategies that optimize the company's tax position while maintaining compliance.
Identify potential tax-saving opportunities and recommend tax-efficient solutions to minimize tax liabilities.
Audits and Inquiries:
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during tax audits and inquiries.
Provide necessary documentation and support to respond to tax authorities' queries and resolve tax-related issues.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of tax-related information for financial statements and other regulatory filings.
Monitor the documentation of tax policies, procedures, and internal controls to maintain compliance standards.

Requirements:
Graduate with Qualified CA or 2+ years’ experience.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
Proven experience in income tax preparation and compliance, including experience with corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
Strong understanding of income tax laws, regulations, and tax planning strategies.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with various stakeholders.
