Waiter / Steward

Job Summary:

The Service Steward / Waiter is responsible for delivering an excellent dining experience by providing prompt, courteous, and efficient service to guests. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables
• Present menus, explain dishes, and provide recommendations
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure tables are clean, well-set, and maintained during service
• Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and handle requests promptly
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for smooth order execution
• Clear tables and reset them for the next guests
• Handle basic guest concerns and escalate issues when required
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and service standards

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
• Well-groomed and presentable appearance
• Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• Training in hospitality, hotel management, or retail service
• Prior experience in restaurants, cafés, or QSR formats
• Basic knowledge of POS systems
