Software Development Engineer 2

Job Overview

Design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions using Databricks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver efficient data solutions
Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses/data lakes
Optimize and troubleshoot Databricks workflows and performance issues
Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data integration and Databricks

Qualifications and skills:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Databricks (Mandatory)
Strong knowledge of any ETL tool (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS) (Mandatory)
Well-versed in data warehousing and data lake concepts
Proficient in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services
