Inventory Manager

Company: MoonAir (Air Cooler Manufacturing & Distribution)Role OverviewWe are hiring a Store Manager / Inventory Manager to take complete ownership of factory inventory operations — raw materials, line-side stock, and finished goods.

This is a control-critical role.

You are responsible for stock accuracy, material flow, and zero leakage.

• Key Responsibilities1. Inventory Control (Core Responsibility)Maintain accurate stock of:
• Raw materials (motors, pumps, tanks, plastic parts, pads)
• Work-in-progress (line-side inventory)
• Finished goods (packed coolers)
• Ensure 100% stock accuracy (physical vs system)
• 2. Inward & GRN ManagementVerify incoming materials against PO
• Ensure proper GRN (Goods Receipt Note) entry
• Check quality and quantity before accepting stock
• Coordinate with purchase & QC team
• 3. Material Issue to ProductionIssue materials based on approved production plan / BOM
• Maintain strict issue tracking (no blind issuing)
• Ensure line never stops due to stock-out
• 4. Dispatch & Finished Goods ControlManage finished goods inventory
• Coordinate with dispatch team
• Ensure correct loading & documentation
• 5. Stock Tracking & ReportingDaily stock report (closing stock)
• Track:
• Consumption vs BOM
• Shortage / overuse
• Highlight any mismatch immediately
• 6. Physical Verification & AuditConduct:
• Daily checks (critical items)
• Weekly cycle counts
• Monthly full audit
• Identify and resolve stock variances
• 7. System & Process DisciplineMaintain proper documentation:
• GRN
• Issue slips
• Stock registers / software
• Ensure all movements are recorded real-time
• 8. CoordinationWork closely with:
• Production team (for consumption)
• Purchase team (for replenishment)
• Accounts / MIS (for reconciliation)
• Key KPIs (Performance Measurement)Stock accuracy (% match physical vs system)
• Zero production stoppage due to material shortage
• Variance / shrinkage %
• Inventory turnover efficiency
• GRN & issue entry timeliness
• Required Skills & Experience3–7 years experience in factory inventory / store management
• Experience in manufacturing (preferred: appliances / plastics / EMS)
• Strong understanding of:
• BOM-based inventory
• GRN / issue process
• Good in Excel / inventory software
• Detail-oriented and disciplined
• Personality Traits (Very Important)Strong control mindset (no leakage tolerance)
• High accountability
• Ground-level operator (not just desk work)
• Can handle pressure and fast-moving environment
