Supply Chain Planner

A purpose driven role for you

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
1. Capacity Readiness: Execute capacity planning for domestic and export markets to meet QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) parameters.
2. Supplier Management: Lead overall supplier management and development in alignment with the Annual Business Plan (ABP).
3. Risk & Cost Optimization: Identify supply risks and drive cost-saving proposals across the category.

A Day in the life

You will be working on day-to-day basis on following:
1. Action Implementation: Executing capacity development actions and addressing variation gaps in production volumes.
2. Engineering Change: Managing ECN changes and ensuring timely implementation at the supplier end.
3. Quality Improvement: Utilizing Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and other tools to enhance supplier quality.
4. Sample Submission: Reviewing development plans for timely submission of samples and IPPT.
5. Asset Planning: Conducting periodic capital asset planning (dies/moulds) to ensure availability as per plan.
6. Risk Mitigation: Recording potential obsolescence and working with suppliers to mitigate supply risks.
7. Cross-functional Approval: Preparing cost-saving proposals and securing approvals from Finance, Project Engineering, and RM Cells.

Academic Qualification & Experience

1. Education: Minimum B.Tech.
2. Experience: 5–8 Years of relevant experience.

Technical Skills/Knowledge

1. Value Stream Mapping: Ability to use VSM for supplier process improvement.
2. Market Knowledge: Broad understanding of market trends and the sourcing environment.
3. Data Analysis: Mid-level proficiency in Excel and PPT for reporting and proposal building.
4. Capital Asset Planning: Knowledge of die/mould development and lifecycle management.
5. Sourcing Strategy: Ability to align CKD (Complete Knock Down) strategies with local sourcing needs.

Behavioural Skills

1. High Aptitude: Strong mental agility to manage high variations between rolling and firm plans.
2. Proactive Attitude: Self-driven approach to risk identification and mitigation.
3. Team Work: Collaborative spirit for working across CIT, NMC, and Finance teams.
4. Coordination: Effective management of multi-plant production distribution.
5. Influencing Skills: Ability to get timely approvals from diverse stakeholders for cost initiatives.
