👤 Position Overview:As a Banquet Manager or Banquet Captain, you will be responsible for coordinating, supervising, and executing banquet events to ensure guests receive outstanding service. This role demands strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team while keeping service standards high.

• ✅ Key Responsibilities:Oversee setup, execution, and breakdown of all banquet events
• Supervise banquet staff, assign duties, and ensure service quality
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for timely food & beverage delivery
• Greet clients, address special requirements, and resolve any issues promptly
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards are maintained
• Manage inventory and banquet supplies
• Train and guide new team members
• Maintain clear communication with sales and event coordination teams
• 🧠 What We’re Looking For:Proven experience as a Banquet Captain or Banquet Manager (2+ years preferred)
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure
• Good knowledge of banquet operations and service standards
• Flexible with work hours (including evenings, weekends & holidays)
• 🎓 Education & Experience:Preferred: Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or relevant field
• Required: Relevant banquet/event management experience
• Skills and leadership are more valued than academic qualifications!
