Packaging Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven QC Associate to join our fashion brand’s production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, basic stitching skills, and the ability to identify and report defects in garments. This role is crucial in ensuring our apparel meets the highest standards before reaching our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect finished garments for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Detect and document defects such as stains, fabric damage, incorrect stitching, loose threads, missing or loose hooks, buttons, zippers, etc.
• Perform minor repairs or adjustments (e.g., replacing buttons, tightening loose stitching) when needed.
• Conduct in-line and final inspections of apparel before they are stocked out.
• Ensure consistency in size, measurements, labeling, and overall garment presentation.
• Work closely with production and design teams to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain accurate inspection reports and quality records.
• Suggest process improvements to minimize future defects.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in garment inspection or quality control, preferably in a fashion or apparel setting.
• Basic stitching knowledge and hands-on experience in handling minor garment fixes.
• Strong attention to detail and a good understanding of fabric types and garment construction.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
