Technical Product Manager - Digital Gold Platform

We are looking for a highly driven Technical Product Manager to join the Paytm Gold team and help build the next generation of digital gold products at scale. This role blends deep technical understanding with strong product thinking to deliver secure, compliant, high-performance systems that power one of India’s largest digital gold businesses.

- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for gold platform initiatives — from requirement gathering, technical feasibility, and design, to delivery, monitoring, and optimization.

- Translate business goals into detailed technical product specifications, architecture discussions, and API contracts.

- Work closely with engineering, design, data, compliance, finance, and external gold partners to ensure seamless, reliable operations.

- Own and enhance core gold systems such as pricing engines, settlement flows, reconciliation pipelines, ledgers, and storage workflows

- .Define product roadmaps balancing performance, scalability, compliance, and user experience.

- Partner with engineering teams to drive high-quality execution: sprint planning, backlog prioritization, technical debt management, and release coordination.

- Deep-dive into system issues, support incident resolution, and implement long-term stability improvements.

- Build and optimize dashboards, monitoring, and alerts for critical gold operations.

- Ensure regulatory, audit, and risk compliance across product features and backend systems.

- Drive innovation through experimentation, competitive benchmarking, and customer insights.

- 4–8 years of product management experience, with at least 2+ years in technical or platform product roles.

- Strong technical depth — ability to understand APIs, microservices, data flows, cloud infrastructure, and system design.

- Proven experience driving complex backend products, financial systems, or real-time transactional platforms.

- Familiarity with payments, fintech, commodities, or regulated products is a strong plus.

- Excellent analytical skills with comfort in SQL, dashboards, metrics, and experimentation.

- Ability to collaborate across engineering, compliance, legal, business, and operations teams.

- Strong communication and documentation skills with a structured, detail-oriented approach.

- User-obsessed mindset with a bias towards action, ownership, and delivering impact.
