Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Business Development
1.1. Life and Non Life Insurance.
1.2. Build and manage a portfolio of individual, SME, and corporate clients.
1.3. Achieve defined premium and revenue targets.
1.4. Identify cross-selling opportunities within existing clients.
2. Risk Analysis & Advisory
2.1. Conduct detailed risk assessment of client assets and liabilities.
2.2. Recommend suitable Life & General Insurance solutions aligned with client risk profile.
2.3. Explain policy coverage, exclusions, deductibles, and claim procedures clearly.
2.4. Provide structured and competitive proposals to avoid client confusion.
3. Renewal & Retention Management
3.1. Track and manage all renewal due policies.
3.2. Ensure timely follow-ups to maintain high retention ratios.
3.3. Review renewal competitiveness and negotiate with insurers where required.
3.4. Reduce policy lapse ratio through proactive communication.
4. Cross-Selling & Coverage Expansion
4.1. Identify protection gaps in existing clients and recommend additional Life & Non-Life insurance products (Life, Motor, Health, Property, Liability, Marine, etc.).
4.2. Increase average premium per client by expanding coverage across multiple risk areas.
4.3. Leverage existing client relationships to generate referrals and additional business.
4.4. Coordinate with other financial product teams for structured cross-referrals where applicable.
4.5. Drive multi-policy penetration within individual, SME, and corporate clients.
5. Client Servicing & Claims Support
5.1. Provide end-to-end assistance during policy issuance, endorsements, and claims.
5.2. Coordinate with insurers and internal back-office for documentation and processing.
5.3. Ensure fair and timely claim settlement support.
5.4. Maintain long-term professional relationships with clients.
6. Compliance & Documentation
6.1. Ensure all activities comply with regulations and company policies.
6.2. Maintain accurate records of proposals, renewals, claims, and endorsements.
6.3. Submit periodic MIS reports on premium, renewals, and business performance.
6.4. Stay updated with regulatory and product changes in the Lige & General insurance sector.
7. Coordination & Process Alignment
7.1. Work closely with back-office team for smooth policy processing.
7.2. Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation before submission.
7.3. Maintain updated client database and interaction records.
