Job Description
Role Summary: Responsible for the on-field recovery of overdue payments from customers, ensuring high collection efficiency while maintaining the company's reputation and adhering to regulatory guidelines (RBI).
Key Responsibilities:
- Field Visits: Visit delinquent customers (Bucket 0 to Write-off) at their residence or workplace for payment collection.
- Negotiation: Persuade customers to clear overdue amounts and educate them on the consequences of non-payment.
- Tracing: Locate "untraceable" customers through local references and market feedback.
- Reporting: Update the collection status in the mobile app/system daily and deposit collected cash/cheques at the branch.
- Compliance: Strictly follow the Fair Practices Code (FPC) and RBI guidelines regarding debt collection.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1–5 years in NBFC/Banking collections (Personal Loan, Business Loan, or Microfinance).
- Education: Graduate or 10+2 (depending on seniority).
- Must-Have: Own two-wheeler and a valid driving license.
- Skills: Strong communication in the local language, high pressure handling, and basic digital literacy.
