Restaurant Cashier

We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented, and responsible Cashier & Billing Staff member to manage customer transactions efficiently and provide excellent service. The ideal candidate should have basic accounting skills, good communication abilities, and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle cash, card, and digital payments accurately

Generate bills and process orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems

Ensure correct billing and provide receipts to customers

Maintain daily cash balance and prepare reports

Greet customers warmly and assist with billing queries

Coordinate with kitchen and service staff for smooth order flow

Handle refunds, discounts, and promotional offers as per policy

Maintain cleanliness and organization at the billing counter

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

Minimum qualification: Intermediate, diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in cashiering or billing (preferred)

Handling Zomato , Swiggy and home delivery orders

Packaging and prompt delivery of ordered food

Basic knowledge of POS systems and billing software

Good numerical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Honest, punctual, and reliable

Working Conditions:

Flexible shifts, including weekoff and holidays

Standing for long periods may be required

Fast-paced restaurant/café environment
