Job Description

  • 🔪 Manage a SectionTake full responsibility for a specific kitchen station (e.g., sauté, grill, pastry)
  • Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards
  • 🍽️ Food Preparation & Quality ControlEnsure all dishes are prepared consistently and presented well
  • Maintain taste, texture, and portion standards
  • 👨‍🍳 Supervise Junior StaffGuide and train commis chefs and kitchen assistants
  • Delegate tasks efficiently
  • 📦 Inventory & Stock ControlMonitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients
  • Minimize waste and control food costs
  • 🧼 Hygiene & SafetyFollow food safety regulations (HACCP standards)
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the section
  • ⏱️ Time ManagementEnsure timely preparation during service hours
  • Coordinate with other sections for smooth service
